Approach to piano teaching
Classical training
Students learn the pillars of classical technique —scales, arpeggios, and hand position— before progressing to advanced musical concepts like timing, expressivity, and phrasing. This approach allows students to play with technical skill while interpreting each piece with depth and musicality.
Breath Work
Through guided breath work and mindful posture techniques, students learn to release tension, focus their energy, and find balance at the keyboard. This practice enhances endurance and relaxation, enabling students to play with greater ease and expression.
Self-expression
Students are encouraged to compose, improvise, and explore their musical voices. With guidance in melody, harmony, and rhythm, each lesson inspires creativity, and helps students shape their unique musical identities with confidence.
